When it rains”
When it rains it sometimes pours…
If it were raindrops falling on my head I’d find my friend, my companion, my greatest strength near.
If the rain were steady and thunder cast lightning I’d hear his voice whisper subtle in my ear saying “this too shall pass.”
Days of thunder can appear with such madness. Whereas he can be found near with such comfort of warm gentle hands, a hug to keep the storms formation away from one’s demise.
Perhaps God’s will silenced the withering storm as it unsurpassed the pastures left behind unscathed. The storm that could have flooded the earth now surrenders to the sound of harmony under a willow tree from afar.
It is there he sat under this old willow tree looking up into the sky as the clouds lifted. The glimmer of sun shines through the scatter clouds as the storm settled embarked onto another journey.
It is there under this willow tree he rested, waiting, anticipating my arrival from afar left undone, dry in the musk left behind.
I walk this distance from afar and sat next to him with my head leaned into his shoulder. I closed my eyes as he placed his hand gently on mine and said “the storm has passed yet another day.”
Parallel Waterfront is live on Barnes and Noble Nook and Amazon Kindle
“There were times I found myself wandering from my home day or night without so much as a thought placed into my actions. My actions drifted into somewhat of a Parallel relativity while on automatic pilot.
Scarlett as everyone called me came from a nickname I’d come to be known. As some would say I carried myself through life-like a scar on the meadows jagged edge, past due beyond the shadows of gravesites; clinging onto things never intended by others to withstand.
My mind capture in a place of distortion wondering about Jake, my love, trapped in a paralleled abnormalities; in state of doubts subconsciously.
It would be those shadows of doubts that lingered everywhere I went as everything in my life was in limbo or parallel to unfortunate circumstances.”
I carry value in philosophy when it comes to motivation and setting goals. I am a freelance writer, motivational life coach within the community. My work extends into social media networking and barriers that sometimes keeps a person stuck pondering endlessly from time-to time. Mindfulness has become a way of life for me and I share my experiences with those whom seek to find a meaningful balance in life. Finding ways to cope with life stressors, as well, to think outside the box. To place understanding into a different perspectives when hindered by ones own fleeting thought process or collective barriers beyond interpersonal communication. To better understand OCD and other mental health factors one may find difficult to understand. To define meaning into the theory of all things that may place ones thought process into state doubts; questions one may desire to find and/or at times embrace their own burden of truths. For one to find willingness to know that sometimes thoughts serve no other purpose than to simply be fleeting and/or thoughts that do not warrant an emotional response. To allow ones thoughts to freely pass and stay in the present moment.
Lets take a walk into the world of mindfulness…
This video is a two-part series to Arts & Eating Disorders in partnership with The Emily Program Foundation & The International OCD Foundation on separate occurrences from 2015 through 2017.
As time went by I added a video to contribute to the poem read on the video that was made though donations for The Emily Program Foundation.
However this documentary address other coexisting psychological condition referenced towards OCD & Eating Disorders. One that proved to be quite challenging to overcome. I walked a path for years on fears alone and I can say with certainty that this proved to be a powerful source. After all fear can be quite a motivating factor and relentless at the very least. Not to long I submitted an article to The International OCD Foundation and received a welcoming response of acceptance. The article is based on living with OCD and tools I’ve learned throughout the years to maintain a healthier quality of life.
“OCD; Trapped in compulsive modes, wrapped within unwanted thoughts and fearsome images”
By Marsha Beede
Is it possible for the unimaginable to happen to you? Where one day you wake from a deep cloud, a decade later, only to find life has passed you by? An unhealthy sense of fears, shame and guilt that was never yours to own, but rather you may have carried sorrows, regrets and pains of others that became so deep that fears and images lay within you and depleted every effort you made?
This can happen too many and it did happen to me…

Spiritual Path in Distress”
When it comes to human behavior, actions in regards as to how a person responds to a crisis mode in their lives may at times mimic a cluster of personal distress of destruction. A crisis can condition a person to stray far from stabilization in any manner within actions. This doesn’t necessarily change or modify a person’s elevated state of being but rather dysfunction may occur.
It is often said when it comes to addictions, mental illness, one may survive at a bare minimal in times of struggles. One’s ability to maintain a faction of hope strays far, just enough to keep a person on solid ground; living moment-by-moment in any given circumstances where there are shadows of doubts…
If you know of a love one whom may be struggling with mental health seek help through a mental health professional or call a crisis hotline in your area because it’s never too late.
“Change starts with ones action; to become unglued and resilient to change on ones perspective views towards a better quality of life”
Duluth MN Abandoned Loading Dock in Superior Lake
Now this place situated amongst a high touristy area with hotels all around it was a sand and gravel unloading dock created in 1919 but abandoned in 1922 because of its exposure to the weather off of the lake.
It sits in Superior Lake near the boardwalk not too far from the lighthouses and historical museum in Duluth MN.
However when the tide peaks the building begins to submerge and vanish.
During low tides or the water becomes shallow it will emerge and grace us with its presence.
As I ponder within my thoughts and begin to write. My writing brings me reminiscing or perhaps within thoughts as I pause away from the present moments. I often ponder on being complete in a whole because who can define what really matters in life.
Can a person single handily be complete by the one whom crosses your path? Or do many single handily inspire you to fill life with some sense of belonging. One thing for sure, to feel a sense of completion a person needs to find integrity from within for things we may desire or perhaps long for.
Yet to a sense of self to say “I don’t need anyone to feel complete” is to say we don’t need humans to survive on earth. To be carried through life with a sense of belonging is a fundamental part of who we are.
As I begin to reminisce through time with memories, travel forward with an essence of belonging. Perhaps it might otherwise be daydreaming or dreadful memories that I find myself pulled into without recognizing at times what stands in plain view.
Staying present in the moment can at times be harder than it looks. Countless times I’ve found myself caught in a daydream or reminiscing. Hanging on to one of the things I tell myself at times I don’t really need.
A person can climb a mountain through time travelling only with thought. But to get there, you’ll need a guide or sense of direction to find some mastery. Mastery at best requires people or things around us to accomplish great things. A vortex at its best will pull a person in when we don’t seek things internally or externally.
While we journey through life or perhaps walk through great mountain terrains, our thoughts, experience, emotions derive from within. We than externally seek things out that we may ponder on or when we long for some sense of enlightenment to fill a void.To remember and acknowledge we all have limitations we set forth. Not everything can be given freely and not everything can be taken.
To give into ones needs to find purpose in life carries a fundamental understanding within that limitations are among us all.
Fears that derive from within may carry merit when we can acknowledge why we may feel this way and then place this knowledge towards better use. But also understand within ourselves that sometimes facing fears and emotions head on can be the hardest task at hand.
As you may begin to perhaps reminisce through time with memories, travel forward with an essence of belonging you may find yourself standing at the bottom of a mountain. While staring at this mountains path that may be unknown, one can begin to admire its beauty from within and the external factors at hand. While gazing at this mountain with a sense of sight, you can begin to carry insight.
Is this mountain a fresh view for your eyes or is it one you attempted long ago? Does your heart race for the adventure with excitement or does it race with fears one may feel inside?
Who will stand next to you while travelling upwards towards this mountains terrain or perhaps one may choose to stand alone the distance at hand?
Does your heart crave to pave way with others while traveling through the unknown or does one willfully create action within that you can call your own?
As you may begin to pave way new journeys, new memories or perhaps old memories to guide you, you begin taking the experience at hand while travelling uphill through the mountains terrain.
You readily take a stance and face the terrains head on. Barreling forth ahead only to find your thoughts can be self-guided.
You may begin to realizing your actions by staying in the present moment. With every move, you begin to walk up this mountain and you take pieces of it with you. Are you self-guided or do the pieces at hand provide insight and guild you?
Setting sight on everything within your path, you begin to set forth the journey at hand. Motioning forward any direction you can go, carrying pieces of this mountains terrain as you continue to go.
All the while you feel the breeze, smelling the crisp air as you travel far. The gentle leaves move within the trees and whisper subtle as can be, the stream ahead may fill your thirst as your internal insight sets in motion.
Follow the light as it settles upon you, build a fire all around you. The ground beneath you carry’s your feet to travel far; the air you breathe becomes your friend by far.
Perhaps you traveled far with another; you may find you’ve discovered shared experience best at hand.
To feel complete, would you stand alone or walk the mighty terrains and embrace the one at hand?
As you walk through the mighty terrains building lasting memories, will it become your journey you’ll come to embrace or perhaps withstand …?
